Detailed program with prices:

1st day: Agadir Airport - TAGHAZOUT / IMI OUADDAR:

Arrival at Agadir airport (or Essaouira or Marrakech)

Optional: Transfer by taxi to our house near the ocean, in Imi Ouaddar.

• Via Agadir airport: €35/taxi, 1 hour drive. 

• Via Essaouira airport: 80€/taxi, 2h30 drive

• Via Marrakech airport: 120€/taxi, 3h drive

We will try to group participants in taxis in order to share the transfer costs. 

Optional: Welcome, evening meal in our house and night in a neighboring apartment   (35€ pp).

 

2nd day: TAGHAZOUT (stable) - TAMRI:30km

Breakfast on our terrace and transfer to the stable, starting point of the hike. Allocation of horses, putting in the saddle. Day in the hinterland, big mountain to cross in the morning, crossing oasis, palm groves. Night in a bivouac in the hinterland in Tamri, next to a cultivated palm grove. 

 

Day 3: TAMRI - TELDI: 26km

Morning in the mountains, the hinterland. We follow the Tamri wadi. Afternoon in the desert dunes dotted with Tamarisk and pink sandstone rocks. Then we go up along the coast on cliffs. Night at the bivouac on the edge of a cliff with a view of the ocean, in Tildi

Day 4: TELDI - IMERDIDSEN:28km

We cross Berber villages and fields bordered by low stone walls. 

Crossing a forest of argan trees, hills with fields and small villages.  

Afternoon along the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Night in bivouac at the edge of the cliffs near the ocean in Imardidsen.

5th day: IMERDIDSEN - TAFDNA : 24 km

Departure from Aftas Imerdidssen. We follow the coast and the cliffs. Very beautiful panoramic views of the wild rocky coast which lead us to Cap Tafelney. At the end of the day, descent to the dunes of Tafdna, to a deserted beach, for a gallop to the fishing village. Night in bivouac in Tafedna in a family farm.

Note: depending on the tide schedule, it is possible to canter on the beach in the morning or in the afternoon.

6th day: TAFDNA - TAKOUCHTE: 32km

Crossing fields and argan orchards, then Berber villages. Short break at the small waterfalls of the Marabout of Sidi M'Barek. The hike ends with a gallop on huge beaches to Takouchte. Night in bivouac on the beach of Takouchte.

7th day: TAKOUCHTE - ESSAOUIRA - SIDI KAOUKI:25km

Crossing the caitsurf village, Sidi Kaouki, with its Marabout by the ocean. Deserted beaches and fishing villages, small village, descent into the dunes until you see the city of Essaouira in the distance. Instead of joining the tourist area of Essaouira, we go up the dunes to cap sim to take a picnic break in a cave, feet in the ocean (possibility of swimming). In the afternoon we bypass the track to reach the beach either to the camp in Takouchte, or to the hostel in Sidi Kaouki

Optional:

• Evening meal and additional night in bivouac/inn with our team in Sidi Kaouki (€45pp) 

• Night in a riad in the medina of Essaouira50€ per double room, breakfast included + provide ~ 15€ pp in cash for the evening meal + 15€/taxi

• possibility of beingmassageby professionals for 40€/hour (either at the bivouac or at the riad).

• opportunity to take a walkcamelat sunset 15€/1hour

 

8th day: SIDI KAOUKI - Essaouira Airport:

Breakfast. Free day. Possibility in Sidi Kaouki to surf, caitsurf, quad, camel, ...  Possibility to visit the medina of Essaouira with its ramparts, its artists, its port, its alleys and to enjoy a hammam.

• to Essaouira airport: 15€/taxi, 15 minutes drive

• to Marrakech airport: 80€/taxi, 2h30 drive

• to Agadir airport: 80€/taxi, 3h30 drive.
