Detailed program with prices:

1st day: Agadir Airport - TAGHAZOUT / IMI OUADDAR:

Arrival at Agadir airport (or Essaouira or Marrakech)

Optional : Taxi transfer to our house near the ocean, in Imi Ouaddar.

• Via Agadir airport: €40/taxi, 1 hour drive. 

• Via Essaouira airport: €80/taxi, 2h30 drive

• Via Marrakech airport: €120/taxi, 3h45 drive

We will try to group the participants in the taxesis in order to share transfer costs. 

Optional : Welcome, evening meal in a small restaurant and night in an apartment next to our house, breakfast at home the next morning and transfer to the stable (55€ pp).

 

2nd day: TAGHAZOUT (stable) - TAMRI:30 km

Breakfast on our terrace and transfer to the stable, starting point of the hike. Allocation of horses, saddling. Day in the hinterland, big mountain to cross in the morning, crossing of oases, palm groves. Night in bivouac in the hinterland in Tamri, next to a cultivated palm grove. 

 

3rd day: TAMRI - TELDI: 26 km

Morning in the mountains, the hinterland. We follow Wadi Tamri. Afternoon in the desert of dunes dotted with tamarisk and pink sandstone rocks. Then we go back up along the coast on cliffs. Night at the bivouac on the edge of a cliff with a view of the ocean, in Tildi

4th day: TELDI - IMERDIDSEN:28km

We cross Berber villages and fields bordered by stone walls. 

Crossing an argan forest, hills with fields and small villages.  

Afternoon along the cliffs with a view of the ocean. Night in bivouac at the edge of the cliffs near the ocean in Imardidsen.

5th day: IMERDIDSEN - TAFDNA: 24 km

Departure from Aftas Imerdidssen. We follow the coast and the cliffs. Very beautiful panoramic views of the wild rocky coast which lead us to Cape Tafelney. At the end of the day, descent towards the dunes of Tafdna, towards a deserted beach, for a long gallop to the fishing village. Night in bivouac in Tafedna on a family agricultural farm.

Note: depending on the tide schedule, it is possible to gallop on the beach in the morning or afternoon.

6th day: TAFDNA - TAKOUCHTE: 32 km

Crossing fields and argan orchards, then Berber villages. Small break at the small waterfalls of Marabout de Sidi M'Barek. The hike ends with a gallop on immense beaches to Takouchte. Night in bivouac on Takouchte beach.

7th day: TAKOUCHTE - ESSAOUIRA - SIDI KAOUKI:25 km

Crossing the caitsurf village, Sidi Kaouki, with its Marabout by the ocean. Deserted beaches and fishing villages, small village, descent into the dunes until you see the city of Essaouira in the distance. Instead of going to the tourist area of Essaouira, we go up the dunes to Cape Sim to take a picnic break in a cave, with our feet in the ocean (possibility of swimming). In the afternoon we go around the track to reach the beach either to the camp in Takouchte or to the hostel in Sidi Kaouki

Optional:​

• Night in a riad in the medina of Essaouira€55 per double room, breakfast included + allow approx. 20€ pp in cash for the evening meal + 15€/taxi/6 places.

• possibility of making a spa/hammam

• possibility of taking a walkcamelat sunset 20€/1 hour

 

8th day: SIDI KAOUKI - Essaouira Airport:

Breakfast. Free day. Possibility in Sidi Kaouki to go surfing, caitsurfing, quad, dromedary, ...  Possibility to visit the medina of Essaouira with its ramparts, its artists, its port, its streets and to enjoy a spa/hammam

• to Essaouira airport: €15/taxi, 15 minutes drive

• to Marrakech airport: €80/taxi, 2h30 drive

• to Agadir airport: €90/taxi, 3h30 drive.

We will try to bring together the partiescipants in taxesis in order to share transfer costs.
